The parental bedroom was slightly reduced in size and to make the best use of space, we designed and installed fitted wardrobes. The area around the head of the bed was painted in a dark terracotta shade which created a cosy atmosphere.
We created a contemporary kitchen lining one wall of a traditional high-ceilinged Haussmann dining room. We opted for a two-tone kitchen: midnight blue fronts add character and provide a graphic frame.
The challenge was to create an extra bedroom in this fifty-something square metre apartment, while maintaining a pleasant and spacious enough living area. Thinking about the layout of this flat was therefore the key element.
The design phase is well managed. It is also the most interesting part of the process, allowing us to make our apartment unique and to really personalise it.
